The Museum of Coastal Carolina presents Science in 3D: Before the Dinosaurs: Coal Aged Monsters on Saturday, Feb 5, at 11:00 am and experience.
Strap on a virtual reality (VR) headset and explore a time before the dinosaurs with the Coal Age Monsters.
Our Science in 3D exhibit uses a VR mobile classroom to bring this exciting experience to you. This program allows visitors to explore Paleozoic Era Earth.
Millions of years before dinosaurs, weirdly wonderful creatures like Diploceraspis, the boomerang-headed salamander, ruled the earth.
The Science in 3D program is hosted by Education Coordinator Jamie Justice, who will help launch each VR adventure and answer questions about the experience. This program is not recommended for children under 5 or people who experience motion sickness.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Admission is free for members. Non-member all-day admission is $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors (62+), $7.50 for children (3-12), and free for age 2 and under.
