On Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11:00 am, the Museum of Coastal Carolina presents a program called Holly Jolly Hermit Crabs. This program is all about hermit crabs – their anatomy, their house hunting, and more fun facts. Hermit crabs are an important part of the touch tank at the museum. This program includes a hermit crab-themed craft with a fun holiday theme.
The hermit crab program is hosted by Jamie Justice, the Education Coordinator for the Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium. She received her Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Science in Environmental Science with concentrations in Marine and Coastal Education and Coastal Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Originally from Portsmouth, Ohio, she moved to Wilmington, NC for graduate school in 2017. Before coming to the museum, she worked in a variety of educational positions at summer camps and schools

The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Admission is free for members. Non-member all-day admission is $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors (62+), $7.50 for children (3-12), and free for age 2 and under.
