The Museum of Coastal Carolina is hosting their annual Family Day event, just in time for Earth Day on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 from 10 am to 2 pm! This year’s event will feature hands-on STEM activities to entice even the littlest of scientists.
We’ll have activities such as shark tooth measuring, sea turtle egg decorating, and digging for gemstones and fossils. Our live animal programs will be available as well, including our touch tank, non-venomous snake exhibit, and coastal plains gallery. We’ll also be learning about watersheds and floodplains with our Augmented Reality Sandbox and creating wooden birdhouses and recycled crafts. Come out for a great day for the whole family!
This event is Free for Members and Brunswick Country Residents, $3 for All Others.
