Family Day Features Snakes, a Mermaid and Much More At The Museum of Coastal Carolina
Family Day, a carnival-style event and one of the Museum of Coastal Carolina’s most popular days, will be held on April 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It features live snakes, an opportunity to meet a mermaid and more.With activities planned inside and out, everyone is a kid on family day with fun beach-themed events and child’s admission to the Museum for everyone.
The Museum invites visitors and locals alike to purchase tickets to participate in activities staged in the Museum’s parking lot such as the fish fling, jellyfish race, or making shark tooth necklaces.
Guests can purchase Museum admission to experience all the Museum has to offer, meet the Little Mermaid, learn about snakes or purchase additional tickets for other fun activities designed to reflect the coastal environment.
Sunset Slush, Tasty Tee’s Snack Shack Food Truck and Chocolate and S’more Food Truck will be onsite with tasty treats available for purchase. Vicki Paints offers her facepainting talents for an additional fee.
Museum admission is $8 for everyone on Family Day and children 12 and under receive five free tickets with admission. Additional activity tickets are also available for purchase.
