The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office will celebrate Halloween and reach out to the community with a new socially distant event for 2020.
This year, instead of its annual Fall Festival in October, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is holding its first Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat on October 22nd from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.
The event will take place at the Government Complex in Bolivia. Various law enforcement officers, county employees, and community partners will park their decorated vehicles in the complex loop. Participants will enter through the north entrance closest to Midway Road and proceed around the complex loop, remaining in their vehicles while receiving candy through the window.
This event will be fun for kids of all ages, and it’s a great way to create positive connections between law enforcement and the community. Candy, gift card or monetary donations are requested from anyone in the community who supports this cause and can pitch in.
To make donations contact the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office IMPACT team: 1st Sgt. T.K. Nowell at (910) 880-4953 or Sgt. Rebecca Allen at (910) 880-4832.
