The Rotary Clubs of Brunswick County 5k Turkey Trot is the end of the season celebration 5k race for Girls on the Run, Heart & Sole, and STRIDE participants. Come join over 100 boys and girls, grades 3rd-8th, as they celebrate their accomplishments of the season!
The course starts and ends at Family friendly Planet Fun! Public runners are welcome as this race provides scholarships to children who need assistance to participate in the Girls on the Run and STRIDE programs.
Professional race production is done by the Wilmington Family YMCA and timing by Brunswick Timing ensures a fun, safe, and accurate 5k race experience!
The Turkey Trot will be held November 21,2015 at 8am at Planet Fun in Shallotte, located at 349 Whiteville Road, Shallotte, North Carolina. Fees are $25.00 per runner. Contact Aileen Sutton at 910.251-9622 ext. 266 or email at [email protected]
