An original production of Tchaikovsky’s beloved The Nutcracker, presented in dancing laser lights will be featured on Friday and Saturday nights at Ingram Planetarium.
Laser Nutcracker is narrated along with a unique artistic presentation of the music that has captivated and become a holiday tradition for generations. Join Clara on this magical Christmas Eve journey every Friday and Saturday night beneath the immersive planetarium dome.
In addition, Laser Trans Siberian Orchestra makes a reprise and is also presented each Friday and Saturday night. It, too, has become a holiday tradition at Ingram Planetarium.
Finally, in addition to these evening presentations, daytimes feature Mystery of the Christmas Star, a full-dome film that takes viewers back over 2000 years to Bethlehem as we seek to discover a scientific explanation for the star the wise men followed to find the baby Jesus.
With educational films that inspire curiosity and spectacular laser music shows that will create out-of-this-world memories, Ingram Planetarium has something for visitors of all ages. Here’s a look at the Planetarium’s schedule Nov. 6 through Dec. 31.
