We’re flying kites on March 16th to have some fun! Come to the Museum of Coastal Carolina at 11:00am on Saturday, March 16th, and learn how to fly a kite. Use one of the Museum’s kites or bring your own favorite kite. Kites have been flown for centuries for military, cultural, scientific, and competitive reasons.
Weather permitting, we’ll take the kites outside and watch them soar. In case of inclement weather, an indoor program about kites is planned.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Admission is free for Museum members. Non-member all-day admission, which includes admission to the 11:00 kite program, is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, $4 for children ages 3-4, and free for ages 2 and under.
