Did you know that most Sea Turtles are nomads and travel about 1,300 miles a day? How about that Sea Turtles have an excellent sense of smell?
Always wanted to learn more about the fascinating lives of Sea Turtles in our area? Then come to “Turtle Talk.” Members of the Ocean Isle Beach Sea Turtle Protection Organization will give an educational lecture on life cycles and problems facing Sea Turtles in our area.
The turtle talks are held weekly from May 30th through August 15th at the Museum of Coastal Carolina in Ocean Isle Beach at 7pm. The turtle talks are free with regular admission to the museum. Regular admission to the museum is $8 for adults, $6 for both students K-12 or with a college ID or senior citizens over age 60, and $3 for children ages 3-5.
