
Enjoy an entertaining and educational presentation at the Museum of Coastal Carolina. The Sandbar Lecture Series brings local experts to speak about topics ranging from our coastal environment to Outer Banks history. Sandbar lectures are free with Museum admission.
Tuesday, July 18 at 6:00 pm, visit with raptors and learn about the important roles these birds of prey play in our ecosystem.
Live animal representatives, including owls and hawks, will join Faye Russell from the Cape Fear Raptor Center in leading a lively and informative discussion explaining how everyone can ensure raptors thrive in our environment.
Sandbar Lecture presenter Faye Russell has worked with the Cape Fear Raptor Center for seven years, using her experience with eagles, hawks, and owls to facilitate educational presentations.
The Museum of Coastal Carolina is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
Admission is free for members. Non-member all-day admission effective March 31, 2022 is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors (62+), $8 for children (3-12), and free for age 2 and under.
