Associated Press RALEIGH – Things are going just swimmingly at most NC beaches. The News & Observer of Raleigh reports that’s the word from an annual survey of water quality at public beaches, which found that North Carolina beaches are among the cleanest in the country. The latest report of testing compiled by The Natural Resources Defense Council shows Ocean Isle Beach’s water to be among the cleanest in the country! Good news for swimmers (and parents). Ocean water has been tested for years in front of The Winds throughout each summer with no sign of any pollution! Isn’t it reassuring to know that the ocean water that your family plays in is that clean?
Ocean Isle Beach has among the cleanest waters in the country?That doesn’t suprise me!Ocean Isle is so clean and un-crowded overall.I hope it always stays that way.My husband and I love coming down every years for a relaxing,quiet,fun time.We are never disappointed!
Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone! We want the beach to stay as lovely and uncrowded as it has always been! Our family joke is that no one is to tell anyone how wonderful OIB is, because then it’ll get overcrowded with folks seeking to experience what we’ve long known about.
